  • Computer Lab Assistant

    Open to both work-study and non-work study; work-study preferred.
    Description: Open to both work-study (preferred) and non-work study. Install software upgrades, new computers, system maintenance on Macintosh OSX computers and Linux, and open new student accounts. Qualifications: Desire to learn more about OSX and Linux. Preference will be given to physics majors.
                                       
  • Office Assistant - Physics Department

    Description: General office duties including typing, filing, photocopying, fax billing, mail distribution, purchasing office supplies, mailings, phone coverage, etc.
    Qualifications/Requirements: Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

  • Machine Shop Assistant

    Description: Assist in the clean up and renovation of the Sackler Machine Shop. Duties include cleaning and painting the machine shop tools and the machine shop. Organizing of shop tools and supplies.
    Qualifications/Requirements: Reliable, responsible, ability to work independently.

  • Electronics Shop Assistant

    Description: Assist with maintenance and inventory of electronic parts and instruments. Assemble and test electronic instruments for research/teaching. Assist with lab and demonstration fixtures or set up.
    Qualifications/Requirements: Familiarity with electronics and computer entry is helpful.

  • Observatory Assistant - Astronomy

    Description: Operate astronomical observatory: open observatory, adjust telescopes, assist students in using equipment during observations.
