Professor Xuan received a B.S. in physics from Peking University (China) in 1994, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1998 and 2002, respectively. He has been at Clark since 2003.

Current Research and Teaching

Professor Xuan’s research interests include multi-agent systems, artificial intelligence, real-time systems, planning and scheduling, information systems, data mining and machine learning.
