Energy and Resources Group, University of California at Berkeley
John Harte, Clark Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Lecturer, holds a joint professorship in the Energy and Resources Group and the Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management at Berkeley. A member of the California Academy of Sciences, Professor Harte was awarded a Pew Scholars Prize in Environment and Biological Conservation in 1990 and is the recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship. He is the author of Consider a Spherical Cow and The Green Fuse as well as co-author of Patient Earth and Toxics A to Z: A Guide to Everyday Pollution Hazards. His current research focuses on the study of climate change and the feedback mechanisms linking ecosystems and climate. |
