Thursday, March 18, 1999, 4:00 p.m. Dr. Geller has advised and conducted energy conservation studies for utilities, governmental organizations, and international agencies. His research interests include the monitoring of land-cover changes and biomass burning by remote sensing, and the modeling of land-use changes and their ecological impacts. The geographic focus of his research are the tropical regions, mostly in Africa. He has published several papers in leading scientific journals in remote sensing, geography and environmental sciences. |
