Steven is a serial entrepreneur and currently is the CEO and co-founder of two companies, Applied Interactive and Access Fixtures.Applied Interactive is a strategic web marketing firm focused on delivering a consistent supply of leads for national and regional clients.Access Fixtures supplies commercial and sports lighting for less to electrical contractors and end users.
In 1999, he founded bulbs.com, expanding it into an e-commerce leader and the nation's fastest growing specialized lighting distributor. Prior to founding bulbs.com he founded Furniture.com and as CEO set a strategy to make it the Internet’s premiere home furnishings ecommerce Company, achieving positive cash flow and profitability in the early days of commerce.
Steven currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Worcester Redevelopment Authority and the Worcester Economic Club, as well as the Board of Corporators for Greater Worcester Community Foundation. He holds a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration from Norwich University.
Steven has taught the ENT Capstones I and II since fall 2010. The Capstone experience under Steven's guidance is an intensive fourteen-week course in which students take a business idea and bring it as close to launch as possible.
