Entrepreneurs-In-Residence

Each year, Clark welcomes established entrepreneurs to campus to inspire and lead the next generation as Entrepreneurs-In-Residence (EIRs).

EIRs commit their time to the program in a range of ways–some teach a weekly course, others come to campus to run a seminar, and others participate in guest lectures. EIRs come to campus to advise and mentor students, participate in program staff meetings for strategic planning and course content discussions and to support I&E extra-curricular activities.

Campus Visits and Entretours

Clark University has a long-standing tradition of bringing outside experiences into the classroom; students thrive from the discussion of real-world application. Each semester, we bring in four to five experts from all fields and at all stages of entrepreneurial life.

We also organize a series of Entretours–visits to area organizations known for their start-up energy. Sounds like a fit? Let us know.

Podcasts

Maybe you want to share your perspective, but can't commit for an entire semester or you can't get to campus easily. Then consider working with our team to record a podcast in your area of expertise. It is a simple way to capture your thoughts and share them with Clarkies, prospective students and others who visit the I&E website. Our goal is to have an archive rich with podcasts from a variety of experts, entrepreneurs, leaders and innovators from international corporations, governmental agencies, education, non-profit organizations and more.

Send us an email, and we'll walk you through the process.

Funding

Over the years, the I&E program has received financial support from a well-rounded group of business and non-profit leaders, alumni and outside organizations. To launch the program, seed money totaling approximately $60,000 was raised. To take the program to the next level, we are seeking additional funding through various avenues — foundation grants, organizational donations and individual donors.
