Nhung Dinh (IDSC '2013)

Nhung Dinh (Vietnam) received a B.S. degree in Biology in 2001 from the University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, in Hanoi. She has worked for one of the pioneer local NGOs in Vietnam working in the field of health equity, gender, sexuality and rights for all people, especially for sexual minority and vulnerable groups in Vietnam. Currently, she is working as a researcher and program officer in projects which aim to reduce discrimination against lesbian, gay and transgender people in Vietnam and advocates for their rights. She is interested in raising awareness and funding for issues related to sexual health, rights, sex education and empowerment of children and women. She hopes that knowledge gained at Clark will help her to establish social services for sexual minority and marginalized groups in Vietnam.
