Meghan Helmberger (ES&P '2013)

Meghan Helmberger (USA) graduated from Clark University in 2012, where she double majored in Environmental Science and Policy and Studio Art. She is interested in the effects of climate change on the Arctic region, mainly focusing on melting glaciers and sea ice. She is a research assistant for Professor Karen Frey who works in Polar Science. She is currently looking at the change of biogeochemistry in lakes in Northern Alaska. Meghan will continue on with this research, which will eventually turn into her M.A. thesis.
