Brigid Palcic (IDSC '2012)

Brigid Palcic (USA) is from New Paltz, New York. She is graduating from Clark University with honors in May with a BA in International Development and Social Change. She previouslyworked as a nature educator at Felix Neck Fern and Feather Camp and as a service learning intern for Ubuntu Africa in Cape Town, South Africa. As a nature educator she had to teach about the importance of protecting our environment and environment sustainability. As a service learning Intern she did everyday office tasks as well as observed counseling sessions for HIV positive children, built NGO partnerships for Ubuntu and studied microfinance programs for the unemployed parents of Ubuntu. She is very interested in migration, refugees, and race relations. She has also been working with Professor Fabos on the Main South Promise Neighborhood Project.
