Elisabeth Nebie (IDSC '2013)

Elisabeth Nebie (Burkina Faso) received her B.A. in Languages and Communication focus International Public Relations at Université Libre du Burkina. She interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso in 2009. She led her first research on the climate change diplomacy of Burkina Faso in 2010. She worked as Training Program Coordinator for Ecole Universelle Africaine in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. From January to August 2011, she was enrolled in the Intensive English Program at Monterey Institute of International Studies. Her Master’s research will be analyzing tensions occurring from NGOs intermediary role between donors, small producers, and international buyers. Elisabeth is a Fulbright grantee whose current fields of interest include climate change, gender and water management, foreign languages such as German and Chinese, and intermediary NGOs' contribution to social change.
