Miranda Muro (CDP '2013)

Miranda Muro (USA) received her B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Urban Development and Social Change and a minor in Education from Clark University in 2011. During her undergraduate studies at Clark, she wrote her Senior Honors Thesis on community policing and a police sponsored youth basketball league, focusing on how recreational activities which relax authority can reduce tension and prevent conflict in hierarchical relationships. She now works as the Coordinator of Public Education and Advocacy for the Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance. Current research interests in the field of development include: youth development, education, and empowerment.
