1. Please describe your present professional position? Please include the URL of your organization.
India Program Manager, EMBARQ, World Resource Institute Center for Sustainable Transport - www.embarq.wri.org.
2. What do you find satisfying about your position?
Initiating sustainable transport projects in India where present motorization rate is 7.6 % compared to China's 4.6%. The Indian metro city roads are choked with 2, 3 and 4 wheelers and are in dire need of integrated public transport. Working closely with EMBARQ director, Dr. Nancy Kete. EMBARQ is both a 'think' and 'do' tank. The mix of two makes it a very exciting work place.
(p.s. It's really a dream job.)
