Upon graduation from Clark, Jonah took a position as community gardens coordinator with the Regional Environmental Council of Central Massachusetts. He wrote: "My thesis directly led to my current job which incorporates ...community organizing [and] sustainable agriculture." His interests while at Clark included ethnobotany, urban ecology and social and economic development.
