Vicki Stiefel's novels include Body Parts, The Dead Stone, The Bone Man, and The Grief Shop, which won a Daphne du Maurier prize for Best Mainstream Mystery. Her writing and photography have also appeared in Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, Worcester Magazine, Wild Fibers, Dive Training, The Improper Bostonian, and other national and regional publications. Her 10 Secrets of the LaidBack Knitters was published in 2011. For several years, along with her late husband, William G. Tapply, she conducted The Writers’ Studio workshops in creative fiction. She currently teaches several writing classes at Clark University and recently completed her fifth novel.
