For my thesis project I wanted to produce something that would utilize as many of my talents and abilities as possible. I decided it would be fun and interesting to combine my experiences working as a wedding server / bartender with my current experiences in planning my own wedding. A book format was decided upon because it allowed me to tell the story of a typical wedding day parallel to a typical shift working a wedding. A book allowed me to design several page layouts and incorporate text into each. It also involved setting up photo shoots to acquire all the necessary images needed to illustrate my story. I'm very pleased with what I have produced. Not only was I able to utilize several of my talents, but I also earned several new skills, including book binding and shooting models. I hope you enjoy reading my book as much as I have enjoyed making it.
