Line is what makes something dynamic, it separates, focuses, leads and permits other shapes to appear from a single color. It is a fundamental and basic aspect of most everything, but its importance and impact on the eye are never fundamental or basic. We all use it and create it every single day. It is as important to an artist as to someone in the IRS filing your tax returns. I love Line. It is something that you see all around you every single day at every single moment. I have accepted this from an early age and in time have learned to cherish it. These pieces are a continuation of the constant line that's being drawn in my head.
