Call for Articles for Fall Fall 2013 issue of The Exchange
Deadline: September 15, 2013
The Exchange is designed to provide a forum for NEFDC members to find out about and to exchange ideas related to our shared endeavor of enhancing faculty development and teaching effectiveness. We are particularly happy to receive reviews of books, films, and software; news about practical ideas and innovative programs related to teaching and faculty development; notices of local or state-based faculty or teaching development opportunities; and updates on campus-based initiatives or ideas that may prove useful to members. The Exchange is published twice a year by the New England Faculty Development Consortium. Subscriptions are free to members of the NEFDC.
The NEFDC seeks submissions for the fall 2013 issue of The Exchange. We are especially interested in articles related to the theme of the upcoming conference:
"Peer Instruction - Collaborative Learning."
We also welcome articles related to the theme of the most recent conference in June 2013: "Engaged Learning: Impacts and Implications." Submissions related to the June conference will be considered for a new feature of The Exchange called "Continuing the Conversation."
Submissions are due September 15, 2013 to the Editor, Karen St. Clair. The NEFDC Board members serve as reviewers for all articles.
