of Atlantic Shores" is a research course I enrolled in at Clark
University in Worcester, MA, during the fall of 2008. Information
provided on this webpage and the links associated with it are from
my studies in this course and the information I collected throughout
the semester. Our studies began in Nahant MA, at the Northeastern University Marine Science Center, getting aquainted with sampling techniques and organisms common to the New England rocky intertidal. Our research then brought us to Bermuda, where we studied at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, developing our own research projects studying semi-tropical marine organisms. Additionally, I conducted research on water quality in Narragansett Bay, RI, to supplement my research in Bermuda. The combined findings of my Bermuda and Narragansett projects are summed up in the Conclusions section. Enjoy! All information is for educational and non-commercial purposes only.
