Hi, my name is Craig Swindells and I am currently a senior
at Clark University in Worcester, MA. I am origionally from Lowell, MA
which is about an hour north of Worcester. I am currently working on
finishing off a general biology major and I have applied to Clark's
accelerated degree program to hopefully get my masters degree in a
year. I've worked in the "stickleback" lab, which studies the behavior
and morphology of the threespine stickleback (A fish that can be found
thoughout Alaska along with other places arounf the world), since my
freshman year. My duties consist of maintaing the fish room, which
generally means keeping the fish alive at all costs, and in the summer
I help hatch and raise baby fish that are brought back from the study
site in Alaska. Currently I have no idea what the future holds in store for me, other than hopefully getting accepted to the 5th year program. My ideal job would be doing field studies either for my own projects or working as someones subordinate, I really don't care as long as I get to work in the field. One thing that I don't want to see myself doing is working in a lab. I became a bio major because of my love for the outdoors and nature and to be cooped up in a lab all day looking at samples doesn't look like an appeasing future for me. My hobbies include reading, video games, several trading card games, nature, and oddly enough frisbee (both ultimate and regular). You can contact me at cswindells@clarku.edu or you find me through my facebook page.To the right you will find a quople of sites that helped me this semester, especially the KompoZer tutorial. Without that tutorial this website would not be here. I would like to thank Deb Robertson and Todd Livdahl for teaching the course and offering unconditional help throughout the semester both inside the class and out. Thanks to my fellow classmates without whom the course would be dull and boring. Thanks to my parents for helping me support the weight of the college. And thank you the surfer for visiting this site. ![]() |
