The Distribution of Diseased Brain Corals in Bermuda

Our class, "Ecology of Atlantic Shores", went on a research trip to Bermuda for one week. While we were there each student had to conduct his or her own research project. In order to take advantage of beautiful Bermuda, I chose to study a type of coral known as brain coral.. While snorkeling all around Bermuda, on many different reefs and areas, I noticed that much of the brain coral seemed to be diseased. My project consisted of determing the distrubution of brain coral disease throughout Bermuda. I visited four different bays, observed the brain coral, and determined its level of disease.
