St. George Harbor Founded in 1612, St. George is the first capital of Bermuda. It is also the earliest, urban English settlement in the New World. St. George has been continuously occupied and fortified since it's founding in the 17th century. This harbor is one of two, Hamilton being the other, which receives cruise ships with a great frequency. Being that this area has a high volume of tourist traffic, I thought it would be a good place to gather water samples from. The potential for pollution from the cruise ships, and the tourists themselves is very high, thus making this an ideal spot for water testing.
