The application deadline for fall admission to IDCE is January 15. Applications may be considered for any of the four programs after the deadline has passed. Please contact the Admissions Office for availability. In general, decision letters will be mailed the third week in March. We look for your decision in mid-April. Then, we welcome the IDCE class in late-August. Exact dates will change each year.

Please note that the following application materials are for admission into IDCE programs for Fall 2009. Contact Admissions if you are interested in enrolling in Fall 2008.

Applications and Forms

1. Clark University Graduate Admissions online application (preferred method)

2. Email application. Please fill out using Microsoft Word, save, and submit by email.

3. Printable application. Please print, fill in by hand, and mail or fax.

4. Recommendation Request form. Please print, fill in by hand, and mail or fax. (Currently, IDCE is unable to accept recommendations electronically with the online application. Recommenders may submit a recommendation as an email or an attachment to an email, but they must follow-up that electronic correspondence by sending the original in the mail.) 

5. Transcript Request form. Please print, fill in by hand, and mail or fax.

Applicants from countries in which English is not the first language must submit either 1) a TOEFL score of at least 575 (233 on the computer-based test) or 2) a 90 on the iBT (Internet Based TOEFL) or 3) a minimum score of 6.5 on the IELTS. A original of the test scores must be included with the application.

How do I check my application status?

For applicants who have submitted an online application:

You may check on your application materials by logging into your online application. Go to the Graduate application, log in and type in your password. Go to Processed Applications then click on Fall 2009. It will show a checklist of materials received and the date when they were received. Please keep in mind that during the month of January, we are receiving an abundance of materials from all over the world. It will take about a week or so (maybe a little less) for the admissions office to process all of them. We understand your concern for our application deadline and we appreciate your patience in this matter. Please check back with us by January 11th if your checklist does not appear to include all submitted materials.
