The Applied Aquatic Ecology class went to Eagle Lake in Holden to find and identify wetland plants that they had seen in the classroom the week before.
Jo-Anne Crystoff (ES&P/MA '08) said that, "Being able to be out on the water with Professor, Steve Johnson, made the dynamics of fresh water systems come alive. We started the trip by looking at the lake from the shore. We then took to the water in canoes and kayaks and spent the rest of the afternoon discovering the complexities of a small New England lake."
