From a young age, New York Times-bestselling author @mariascrivan ’93 knew she wanted to be a cartoonist. ✍️
At Clark, she discovered her love of creating and drawing characters — along with her inner athlete, as a member of the @clarkuniversityrowing team.
After graduation, she worked in animation and graphic design, but kept drawing — leading to “Half Full,” a daily comic that offers a humorous perspective on the joys and frustrations of everyday life, which was ultimately syndicated in newspapers nationwide.
She has since published six graphic novels — including “Nat Enough,” which landed on the @nytimes bestseller list in 2020.
