Marina Sako ’26 wants people to know that in a chemistry lab, “there‘s never a dull moment.” 🥼🧬🔬

She studies how double-stranded DNA can repair itself — and when things go wrong, “you have to learn to adapt in a split second to continue your experiment.”

Sako’s fascination with how the human body operates on a molecular level led her to study biochemistry and molecular biology at Clark.
