Providence Business News: Cranston resident wins funding from Ureka Big Idea Challenge to create solar cooker startup in Haiti

Clark University graduate student Lelani Williams' idea to create a woman-managed solar cooker production business was featured in Providence Business News. In the article, Williams mentions seeing Associate Professor Jude Fernando, with whom she traveled to Haiti in 2015, use a solar cooker to make a meal. 

“People really took to it,” Williams said.
