Three Cross Country Men Compete in ECAC Championships
WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. 11/03/07 - Clark University sent three mens cross country runners to the ECAC Championships hosted by Williams College at Mt. Greylock High School in Williamstown, Mass., on Saturday.
First-years Bob Naughton, Thomas Brescin and Patrick ONeil competed in the 8K race. Naughton was the first Cougar to cross the finish line (175th/30:41), followed by Brescin (191st/31:12) and ONeil (223rd/32:31).
Wayne Hooper of St. Vincents (Pa.) won the race in a time of 26:14.
Senior Thomas McCarthy and junior Caleb Evanter will represent the Clark mens team in the NCAA Regional Championships next Saturday at Connecticut College, while graduate student Emily Tremaine, seniors Ellen Durand, Jenna Glazer, Kerri Powers, junior Kaitlyn Sephton, and sophomores Mary Martin and Emma Siemasko will compete for the Cougar women.
