Volleyball Falls to Wheaton College

WORCESTER, MASS. 09/18/07 - The Clark University women’s volleyball team dropped three games to Wheaton College in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action at Kneller Athletic Center on Tuesday. Game scores were 14-30, 18-30, 16-30.

Clark falls to 2-6 (0-3 NEWMAC), while Wheaton improves to 10-2 and 2-1 in conference play.

Sarah Hunsucker (Orinda, Cali.) and Emily Visone (West Hempstead, N.Y.) led the team offensively with four kills each. Visone had a team-high 14 digs, while Liz Magier (Newburgh, N.Y.) chipped in with seven digs. Brittany Meadows (Los Angeles, Cali.) recorded three service aces in the loss.

Clark will travel to Mount Ida for a non-conference match on Thursday (6 p.m.).
