Rowing Competes in Regatta

WORCESTER, MASS. 4/28/07 – The Clark University women’s varsity eight had a strong showing at a regatta on Lake Quinsigamond Saturday afternoon. The team of coxswain Christina Lyman, Sarah Brooks, Kasia Baca, Sara Fealhaber, Kate Dorsey, Rebecca Smith, Mika Kuwahara, Rachel Godin, and Missy Berger finished third in a time of 7:48.3. The Cougars beat out Wesleyan University in the race. Trinity College placed first (7:13.5), followed by Connecticut College (7:36.3). Coxswain Ann Meyer, Jess Baker, Lauren Schiappa, Sarah Feinman, and Mika Kuwahara took fourth in the women’s second varsity four (8:52.0), while the men’s varsity four, cox Leah Block, Russell Giacobbe, Andrew Gager, Josh Cohen, and Tom Valleau, finished third.
