Women's Rowing Competes at NEWMAC Championships

WORCESTER, MASS. 4/21/07 – The Clark University women’s rowing team competed in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships at Lake Quinsigamond on Saturday. Clark’s second varsity eight and varsity eight finished fifth (9:03.22) and sixth (7:52.49), respectively at the championships. Coast Guard Academy won the NEWMAC title with its first place finish in the varsity eight race (7:14.10). Mount Holyoke College was awarded the Florence Jope Smith Cup, the honor for the highest number of points, with 38 points. Clark finished with six points.
