Men's Rowing

WORCESTER, MASS. 4/11/09 - The Clark University men's and women's rowing teams took to their boats for a regatta on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass., on Saturday morning. The men's team took on Trinity College, while women's crew raced Trinity, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College and Holy Cross.

Both the men's and women's varsity four was runner-up to Trinity. The Cougar men finished in a time of 7:07.5, just behind Trinity's 7:06.8 finish. Clark's women placed second in a time of 8:35.2. Trinity won the race in 8:20.8.

The women's third varsity eight boat of Gen DeAngelis, Amy Saba, Kasia Baca, Lily Morganstern, Selin Volka, Jess Baker, Ann Rokosky, Julia Greenspan, Lydia Meintel-Wade took fifth in 8:04.4.

The Clark women's rowing team will race in the NEWMAC Championships next Saturday (TBA).
