Men's Rowing host 2K Race
Clark hosted a 2k scrimmage vs Franklin Pierce on Sunday Oct 26th. In the first race Franklin Pierce took a lead off the start and held it through the finish to win the women's varsity 4 event, Assumption College finished 3rd. In the second race, W2V4/N4, Franklin Pierce once again opened a led off the start and opened water through the first 1000m and won the event. In the 3rd race of the day, the men's V4 event, Franklin Pierce rowed a crew of mostly novices. The race was close for the first 1000m with Clark maintaining about a length of open water on the Franklin Pierce crew - at the 1000m mark Clark pulled away and finished by multiple open lengths of water. The final race of the day was the women's V8. Clark got off to a slow start and Franklin Pierce settled ahead of Clark at the 500m mark. The distance between the two shells remained constant for the rest of the 2k.
