Mount Ida Downs Volleyball

WORCESTER, MASS. 09/18/08 - The Clark University women's volleyball team lost a four-game match to Mount Ida College on Thursday night at the Kneller Athletic Center. Clark fell to 3-6 overall, while Mount Ida upped its record to 5-7.

Game scores were 25-18, 21-25, 24-26, and 24-26.

Junior Maritza Fair (Bronx, N.Y.) and first-year Kristin McGinty (Gypsum, Colo.) had 12 and 10 kills, respectively, to lead Clark. Junior Emily Visone (West Hempstead, N.Y.) had a season-high 25 digs, while Fair chipped in with 21. McGinty finished with four service aces and Nichole Lopez (Alameda, Cali.) contributed with 34 assists.

Clark will host Mount Holyoke College on Saturday (1 p.m.).
