| Salem, Mass. A special reception was held at the Peabody Essex Museum on Sept. 30. Special guests for the event were President Bassett and historian Paul Ropp, director of Clark's Asian Studies Program.

| Worcester A special Afternoon Tea was helpd on Oct. 2 to honor and recognize CLark's women's basketball teams of the 1940s and 1950s. The reception was held at Harrington House with special guest Anne McKenny Early '46.

| CougarFest Homecoming: Clark held its second-annual CougarFest Homecoming 2004 on Oct. 22-24 for alumni, friends, students and faculty. Saturday included alumni athletic games for men's and women's basketball, field hockey, men's and women's soccer and men's tennis. The weekend of special events also included 100th anniversary celebrations for Kappa Phi and the Pasticcio, amusements on the campus green and many other activities. | CougarFest Homecoming: Hockey alumni defeated the current Clark hockey team at Buffone Skating Arena in Worcester.

| CougarFest Homecoming: Members of the Class of 2004 decided to use their class gift to refurnish the third-floor lounge in the Goddard Library in memory of their classmate Ronald Olson Jr. '04 who died in a car accident in the spring.
