Regional Review

Worcester: More than 250 seniors attended the Class of 2000 Reception, held in Tilton Hall on Oct. 17 and hosted by the President and Kay Bassett. The event was sponsored by the Clark University Alumni Association and the Clark Fund.

Worcester: Clark alumni and friends helped incoming members of the Class of 2004 during the annual first-year student move-in day. Alumni also staffed a hospitality center, where alumni, parents and students could take a break from the move.
Greenvilee, R.I. Alumni Association President Lawrence Hershoff '71 and his wife Eleanor Mulford hosted this event at their home on Sept. 21. President Bassett spoke during the reception. Professor Doug Little, the newly appointed dean of the college, also attended the event.
Worcester: Reunion 2000-Alumni Weekend committeee members returned to campus on Sept. 16 for a day of reunion training and planning.
Alumni Council The 40-member Alumni COuncil held its annual fall meeting on Sept. 16. The main discussion focused on the Association's Strategic Plan. They began the morning by meeting Clark's eighth president John Bassett and his wife, Kay, at Harrington House. Regional events in Asia: Over the summer, the Clark University Alumni Association held a number of regional events in Asia.
Hyun-Jin Cho '90, hosted a reception at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Seooul, South Korea, on May 12.
Darwin Tu '79 hosted a reception at Le Petit Sherwood in Taipei, Taiwan, on May 21.
Yoshimori Muraya MBA '90 hosted a reception at the Hilton Osaka, Japan, on May 27.
Washington, D.C. This event was held in the penthouse of the Bank of America Building onn Nov. 15 and was hosted by Clark trustee Barry Rogstad '62, MA '64, and his wife Lorraine '62. Worcester: Several University Park Campus School students and their alumni mentors participated in Claen-Up Day around Crystal Pond on Oct. 21.

Boston: Hundreds of alumni, aprents, friends and prospective students stopped by the Clark booth at the Head of the Charles Regatta onOtc. 22. Members of the SARC helped staff the booth throughout the day.
Worcester: More than 75 SARC members gathered on Sept. 24 for their annual retreat. SARC is instrumental in connecting current students with alumni.
