The International Students Association (ISA), a student initiative at Clark University, showcased a rich variety of cultural entertainment, fashion and cuisine during its annual International Gala on April 13.
Held every spring, the International Gala—among the University’s most lively and popular events—showcases the diversity of Clark through the food, native dress, dance and other customs of the students ’ native countries. This year, the following countries and regions were represented: Asia, China, Bangladesh, Bolivia, the Caribbean, Greece, Hawaii, India, Israel, Italy, Latin America, Middle East, Pakistan, Portugal, West Africa and the United States.
The ISA promotes better relations among students of different cultures through a variety of intellectual, informative and entertaining events that encourage cross-cultural communication on campus and in the Worcester communities.
