Interviews in Your Area

If you are unable to visit Clark for an on-campus interview, you may be able to have an interview in your area with a Clark alumnus/a. Interviews are only offered to students who have not had an on-campus interview, and who have submitted their admissions application.

Local interviews for admission are conducted by alumni who are part of Clark University’s Alumni and Parent Admissions Program (APAP). These informational interviews are scheduled from mid-November through mid-February and are highly recommended. They provide the admissions staff with deeper insights about you, while giving you a chance to learn about the Clark experience from someone who lived it.

Request a local interview

  • Please e-mail apap@clarku.edu after September 15. Interviews are assigned on a first-come first-served basis and your request will be noted.
  • Please submit your application for admission by January 1. (Note: that date is earlier than the regular decision deadline of January 15.)
  • If we have alumni interviewers available in your area, we will match you with one of them. Once we've matched you, you will receive a notification postcard in the mail. Within a few days of receiving the postcard you will be contacted by an alumni interviewer to schedule and complete your interview.
