Undergraduate Admissions: Come to Campus

Planning Your Visit

There are several ways you can visit Clark:

Your visit options: Campus Tour, On Campus Interview, Info Session, Personalized Visit, Preview Day.

Keep in mind that your most successful visit will be while classes are in session and our students are on campus. To customize your visit, follow these four steps:

Step 1.
Choose the type of visit you want. You can choose just one option or combine multiple options in one day, including arranging a personalized visit.

  • Take a Campus tour
    • A student-guided tour of the campus is a great way to discover Clark's facilities in addition to the atmosphere of the University. Tours are generally offered four times a day, Monday through Friday, during the academic year and twice a day during the summer. Tours are drop-in, so you do not need to make an official appointment to join. If you are unable to visit campus, we encourage you to take a virtual tour of the campus.

  • Take a Visual and Performing Arts tour
    • Every Friday, while classes are in session, we offer tours of our Visual & Performing Arts (V&PA) facilities. Led by V&PA students, tours include the Traina Center for the Arts, Estabrook Hall and the Little Center. V&PA tours begin in late September for the fall semester and resume in February for the spring semester. Reservations are required for all V&PA tours.

  • Have an on-campus interview
    • An informational interview is strongly recommended as part of the application process because it is an opportunity for you to tell us about yourself and to find out if Clark offers what you want in a college.  Students should be prepared to answer questions from our interviewers in detail about their plans for college, why they are interested in Clark, what their high school experience was like and other aspects of their life. Students should also come prepared with their own questions about Clark, student life or whatever interests them.

    • Interview appointments are available Monday through Friday, with the exception of certain holiday periods. Interviews are also offered on certain Saturdays in the fall and spring. Current high school seniors have until the end of the second week of February to complete their on-campus interview in order to accommodate our application review timeline. Current high school juniors may begin to have on-campus interviews starting in the second week of March. Appointments are required for on-campus interviews, please call or email to schedule your appointment in advance of your visit.

  • Attend a group information session
    • Group sessions for prospective students and their families are available certain weekdays and Saturday mornings during the academic year. Information sessions are also available Monday through Friday in June, July and August. This is an opportunity to get a general overview of Clark and ask questions. Reservations are recommended for group information sessions.

  • Consider a personalized visit
    • You also have the option of having a one-on-one, personalized visit at Clark in addition to, or instead of, another type of visit. A personalized visit lets you create an itinerary around your specific needs and interests. By scheduling a personalized visit, you can tour the campus, meet with a professor, go to lunch with a "Clarkie," have an admissions interview, attend classes, talk with a coach, speak with admissions staff, and/or talk to a financial aid counselor.

Please keep in mind that personalized visits are available during the academic year only. Personalized visits begin in late September for the fall semester and resume in February for the spring semester. A reservation is required to create your personalized visit. Please make your reservations at least a week in advance of your intended visit to campus.

  • Attend a Preview Day
    • In addition to traditional campus visits, we offer a series of Preview Days, some with a specific theme or academic focus. Preview Day participants will also be able to take a tour of campus as part of the day's activities. More importantly, Clark's Preview Days allow you to hear from current students and faculty about what it means to be a member of the Clark community. Please note that interviews are not available on Preview Days.
