What are the different options for my visit?
You can read about all your visit options.
What is the best time of year for a visit?
We welcome your visit just about any time of the year, and want to make sure you have a great experience. We recommend that you visit during the spring semester of your junior year or fall semester of your senior year to get the most out of your visit. Please note that we do not offer visit programs during our Winter Break (mid-December through late-January) , Spring Break (mid-March), and during the month of May.
Do I have to make a reservation to visit Clark?
Reservations are strongly suggested for our Visit Experience, and are required for Lunch with a Clarkie or Classroom Experiences. Your advance reservation helps us prepare customized Clark information before you arrive. It also allows us to match you with Clark students who share your interests and can give you a personalized experience. Click here for complete details.
How far in advance should I make my reservation?
Reservations for our visit programs can generally be made up until two calendar days prior to your visit. Keep in mind, however, that we limit the capacity of our visit programs to ensure a great experience for all visiting families. Please plan at least two weeks in advance for traditionally busy times of the year (all school holidays, the month of April) and days of the week (Monday, Friday, Saturday). Click here for complete details on our visit programs.
What are my options if I cannot visit campus?
Can’t make it to Worcester? Check out Clark Visits You to find out about admissions programs in your area, including Clark on the Road events. You can also take a virtual campus tour (although we admit it’s not the same as actually being here).
Do you offer interviews for prospective students?
At Clark, we do not conduct formal interviews as part of the admissions process. Instead, we offer opportunities to connect with members of the Clark community through two programs – Lunch with a Clarkie and Clark Conversations. With the Lunch with a Clarkie program, we pair prospective students with Clark undergrads that share similar academic and/or extracurricular interest for an informal conversation over lunch in our Higgins Cafeteria. Clark Conversations take place off-campus, and are generally conducted by Clark alumni or staff. Read about the process for scheduling a Clark Conversation.

Does Clark offer group visits?
Absolutely! Clark University welcomes groups large and small from high schools and organizations that assist college-bound students. Your two-hour visit experience will include information from one of our admissions counselors, a question-and-answer session with Clark students, and a campus walk led by Clark undergrad students. Group visits are offered most weekdays at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Please note, that we require one chaperone for every ten visiting students. Group reservations are required at least two weeks prior to your visit. Please call Andrew Hippert, group visit coordinator, at (508) 793-7431 for more information and to schedule a visit.
Can I schedule an overnight visit to Clark?
We offer a limited number of overnight visits for admitted students only. Specific information about overnight visit opportunities is sent directly to students upon their acceptance to Clark.
Where should I go when I come visit?
All of our visit programs begin at the John and Kay Bassett Admissions Center, located at the corner of Maywood and Main Streets. The nearby Maywood lot has several designated visitor spaces – additional parking areas are designated on our Campus Map. When making your visit reservation, you will receive a printable parking permit to display in your vehicle. Even if we’re closed, you can find self-guided tour booklets at the entrance of the Bassett Center that will give you an introduction to our campus (just look for the red box!).
