Woodland Street
|
Woodland Street has been designated a historic area by the city of Worcester because of the beautiful Victorian houses that line it. But Woodland Street has more than beautiful houses. Campus houses include:
- Alumni House, home to Alumni Affairs and Career Services.
- Anderson House home to the English Department.
- Cohen-Lasry House, home of the Strassler Family Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, which offers an undergraduate concentration and the only Ph.D. program in the United States for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
- Corner House, home to Academic Advising and the Writing Center, where students can go to receive writing assistance, get a second opinion on an essay or receive peer tutoring in a variety of academic disciplines.
- Carriage House, home to the Women's Studies Program.
- Harrington House, home of Clark's president.
- IDCE House, around the corner on Hawthorne Street, is home to the programs in International Development, Community and Environment.
- Norcross House, home to the George Perkins Marsh Institute and Jeanne X. Kasperson Research Library, farther down Woodland Street at the corner of Claremont.
