Successful candidates score within the 80-120 range on the ibT (550-677 on the paper version). You must be able to read, speak and write English fluently, as well as be able to take notes and understand hour-long lectures. If English is not your native language, you are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), even if you are a U.S. citizen.
Alternatively, you may submit an IELTS score. The minimum required score is 6.5.
Information on test dates and locations can be obtained by visiting the TOEFL Web site at www.toefl.org.
