Academic Spree Day and Fall Fest showcase student work
You put so much
work and time into your project that you feel really good about yourself. You feel as if
you're contributing to something special.
—llyssa Klein, student
Each year Clark students present their research and creative work at Fall Fest
and Academic Spree Day (ASD), both held in Higgins University Center. These events
celebrate the research and creative work Clark undergraduate students produce under the
support and mentoring of the University's distinguished faculty. Throughout the day
students display their research findings, present papers, participate in panel
discussions, exhibit their artworkwhich include paintings, drawings, sculptures and
graphic designsand perform original musical compositions. The Clark community looks
forward to these events each fall and spring. Begun in 1991 and overseen every year since
by psychology department faculty member Dr. Seymour Wapner, Academic Spree Day has become
the highlight of the Clark academic year. Beginning in 2000, Fall Fest offers a similar
venue for the presentation of undergraduate research and creative activity.
Students interested in participating in Fall Fest or
Academic Spree Day must be invited to do so by a sponsoring faculty member. Click on the
