National Imagination

Excerpts from Visual Culture Projects

Students in the National Imagination course are required to write three papers — one about each culture the course covers. For one of those assignments, students have the option to create a Visual Culture Project. This project can incorporate any kind of mixed media, including video, music and film. Some students integrated visual images, music and written text by creating PowerPoint presentations on CD.
