- Advanced Organic Chemistry/Lecture
Provides a framework for students who wish to pursue an interest in organic chemistry beyond the level covered in CHEM131/132 by bridging the gap between material in standard elementary organic texts and the original literature. Advanced topics selected from structure and reaction mechanisms include stereochemistry and ionic, free radical, carbenoid and concerted reaction mechanisms. Prerequisite: CHEM132 or CHEM134.
