University Revenue and Expenditures
The charts below show last year's major allocations of revenue and expenditures. The percentages are taken from our audited financial statements (May 31, 2012).
Net tuition revenue (after financial aid assistance) and room and board fees represent 72% of total revenue. Other major sources of revenue include investment income, sponsored research, and gifts.
Instructional and academic support (including library and technology) expenditures are 49% of total expenditures while student services and housing and dining represent 19%. Facility costs including operations and maintenance, interest expense, and depreciation account for 16%.
