Clark University's Alumni and Student Engagement Center

Rising just across from our gates on Main Street, the new Alumni and Student Engagement Center will represent a major stride forward for Clark University. The building is designed to perpetuate and strengthen Clark's commitment to liberal education while also enhancing the surrounding neighborhood.

This signature project will include:

  • A four-story building that will house the LEEP (Liberal Education and Effective Practice) Center, administrative offices, classrooms, and meeting/gathering places for students, alumni and trustees. The roof will be solar paneled for maximum energy efficiency and the north and south entrances will be glass.
  • Expanded multi-level parking that will be shared by the University and St. Peter's Church.
  • Green space to complement the city's improvements to University Park and the upcoming Main South streetscape work that will enhance lighting, beautify sidewalks, and reconfigure crosswalks.
  • An open plaza that will serve as a gateway to a revitalized University Park.

The Alumni and Student Engagement Center will become an essential resource to advance Clark's educational mission and deepen the University's long-standing partnership with the City of Worcester.
