Alice Howard (IDSC '2014)
Alice Howard (Liberia) received a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Liberia, and a diploma in Insurance & Risks Management from the West African Insurance Institute.
Alice currently works at the Bank of New York/ Mellon, Westborough, MA as an Investment Services Specialist. Prior to joining the Bank of New York/Mellon, she worked at Brown University in Providence, RI as a Research Analyst, where she had the privilege of working with newly arrived refugees in Rhode Island under the U.S. Department of Agriculture program.
Alice also worked for the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Monrovia, Liberia, an arm of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), as a Programme Assistant. Alice’s work at the United Nations involved working with various communities has motivated her to enroll at Clark University.
Her research interests are: Women Empowerment, Capacity building, Sustainable resource development, Project Management in Liberia and other parts of Africa.
