Erin Barta (IDSC '2014)
Erin Barta (USA) received a B.A. with Honors in Political Science from the University of North Dakota. Her research interests include global violence against women, nonviolent conflict resolution, and gender formation. At the University of North Dakota, she worked at the writing center as a consultant, was a Dakota student editorialist, and also coached the freshmen volleyball team. Erin interned with Ashoka Innovators for the Public and the North Dakota Campaign for Change. While at UND, she served as a peer service mentor as a member of the UND Honors Program.
