Jenkins Macedo (ES&P '2014)

Jenkins Macedo (USA) received a M.A. in International Development and Social Change from Clark University. He was awarded the 2011 Compton Environmental Sustainability International Research Fellowship to conduct his research in Ghana. His IDSC master's thesis focuses on the environmental security implications of the indiscriminate disposal of municipal solid waste among Liberian Refugees at the Buduburam Refugee Settlement in Ghana. His academic and research interests include geospatial analysis of refugees' environmental impacts, protection, social change and protracted displacement.
