Lori Johnson (GISDE '2012)

Lori Johnson (USA) received a B.S. in biology from SUNY Albany and an M.S. in conservation biology from Antioch University. Recently she has worked closely with the MA Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program doing research for the protection of rare reptiles, amphibians, and dragonflies. Prior to this she worked as a vegan chef for several years. Throughout these experiences her focus has been on advocating environmental sustainability. She is currently interested in integrating GIS and remote sensing techniques with her experience as a field biologist to promote biodiversity conservation.
